*I.Discussion/approval/disapproval to rescind Resolution No. 031925-PCHA, which previously approved the Pinal County Housing Authority’s 2025 Annual Plan and certifications for submission to HUD. The Board to consider replacing the same with Resolution No. 070225-PCHA, which approves an updated Five-Year and Annual Plan for fiscal years 2025 through 2029, including the fiscal year July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, operating budget. *J.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 070225-CFO-01 in accordance with A.R.S. 41-1279.07(E) which requires each county, city, town, and community college district to annually provide to the Auditor General by July 31 the name of the Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO) the governing body has designated to officially submit the current year’s annual expenditure limitation report (AELR) on the governing body’s behalf. *AK.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) No. 235533 between the Pinal County Board of Supervisors and the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES)/Division of Employment and Rehabilitation Services (DERS). This DSA must be amended to reflect the changes to how and where designated ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County staff and contracted partners access Unemployment Insurance (UI) data. The current application, hosted by the Arizona Department of Economic Security, is the General Unemployment Insurance Development Effort (GUIDE) application. GUIDE is being replaced with a new, modern unemployment benefits solution called the Comprehensive Arizona Claims Tracking and Unemployment Insurance Support System (CACTUS). The implementation of the new CACTUS system is scheduled to go live on August 3, 2025. The data-sharing agreement amendment needs to be in place before CACTUS is active. (Joel Millman)

*AM.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 070225-AD24-020 of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors accepting the distribution of FY2024 funds from U.S. Department of Agriculture under Title I of the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self Determination Act. Combs Unified School District and Pinal County through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning July 1, 2025, ending June 30, 2026, with a 1-year renewal extension. This IGA is for the provision of School Resource Officer (SRO) Services. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement DUIAC-E-207 under the DUIAC Enforcement Program between the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning July 1, 2025, ending June 30, 2026, for $25,000. The grant will be used by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit to support overtime and employee-related expenses, enhancing DUI enforcement throughout Pinal County. The award will be budgeted in the FY 25/26 budget. There is no impact on the general fund. (Ross Teeple)

Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 070225-AKCHIN-PCSO, a Resolution authorizing the submission of a grant application to the Ak-Chin Indian Community Shared Revenue Program for $402,437. This grant will be used by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office to purchase public safety equipment and vehicles. (Ross Teeple)

*AZ.

Discussion/approval/disapproval of a retroactive approval to accept the award for Traffic Case Processing grant between the Arizona Administrative Office of the Courts and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning July 1, 2024, ending June 30, 2025, for $25,000. The grant is used by the Superior Court for up to 50% of Field Trainer salary and EREs. Field trainers provide essential business processing, system support, and on-site training. The grant was budgeted and expensed in the FY 24/25 budget. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Todd Zweig)

*BA.Discussion/approval/disapproval of a retroactive approval of an award for the Local Judicial Collection Enhancement Fund grant between the Arizona Administrative Office of the Courts and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning July 1, 2024, ending June 30, 2025, for $99,542. This legislatively appropriated fund will be used by the Superior Court to improve, maintain, and enhance the ability of court automated projects that are likely to improve case processing or the administration of justice. This project will supplement the FY 2025 Arizona Courts Automation Project Costs. The grant was budgeted for in the FY 24/25 budget. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Todd Zweig)
*BB.Discussion/approval/disapproval for a retroactive acceptance of an award for the Fill the Gap grant between the Arizona Supreme Court Administrative Office of the Courts and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning July 1, 2024, ending  June 30, 2025, for $97,766. This grant will be used by the Superior Court to cover the wages and EREs of one Judicial Assistant, one Bailiff, and the cost of five Arizona Court Automation Project desktop PCs. As required for FTG funds, the judicial officers and staff are assigned to criminal case processing. The grant was budgeted for in the FY 24/25 budget. There is no impact on the General Fund. *BC.Discussion/approval/disapproval for a retroactive acceptance of an award amendment for the Supplemental Reduction of Case Backlogs grant between the Arizona Supreme Court Administrative Office of the Courts and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning May 20, 2024, ending  December 31, 2024, for $28,000. This grant will be used by the Superior Court for professional services.
