(6)Discussion/approval/disapproval of the National Crime Victims' Rights Proclamation to declare the week of April 6 through 12, 2025, as "National Crime Victims’ Rights Week" in recognition of the ongoing national observance honoring crime victims. The proclamation is to be read by County Attorney Brad Miller, with an overview by PCAO Victim Advocate Jacqueline Lopez. (Brad Miller)

(8)Approval/disapproval to retain outside counsel to represent the Pinal County Board of Supervisors with regard to whether the County Attorney has a conflict of interest or lack of harmony that precludes him from representing the County with regard to employment matters related to the County Attorney’s Office, and to take such steps as are necessary to determine whether the County can or should retain outside counsel. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Tax Exemption Extension request received by the Assessor's Office for: Shirley G. McCauley, Sandra Jean Grivy, Denise Karen Beauparlant, Helen Georgia Noplos, Alex Nicolas Stovall, Juliet Eileen Meyers, Audrey Ann Dolan, Gloria Noriz, Alexander Brien VanMeter, George Morris, Matthew J. Young Jr., and Salvatore Anthony Romano to be allowed to file for widow/widowers and/or disabled persons or non-profit organization tax exemption. (Natasha Kennedy)

*G.Discussion/approval/disapproval of an amendment to correct the previously approved Award Agreement IPG 24S-706 under the Invasive Plant Grant on January 8, 2025. The grant was approved in Fund 10 but should be allocated to Fund 266. Approval will require an amendment to the FY 24/25 budget to transfer appropriation from Fund 10 (General Fund) to Fund 266 (Misc Grants), to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations in the amount of $192,000. It also approves the matching contribution of 10% budgeted in the FY 24/25 budget. (Himanshu Patel)

Discussion/approval/disapproval of the appointment to the Pinal County Workforce Development Board: Brian Stoner, eCube Solutions, LLC (Business Sector). This appointment has been reviewed, accepted, and recommended for approval by the Pinal County Workforce Development Board on March 20, 2025. Term of service: April 3, 2025, through April 2, 2027. *I.Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Memorandum of Agreement and authorize Emergency Manager Kore Redden to execute the Agreement on behalf of the County. The purpose of this memorandum is to establish a management agreement between the Pinal County Office of Emergency Management and the FEMA IPAWS Program regarding the utilization and security of the Pinal County Office of Emergency Management Interoperable System(s). The expected benefit is to enable information interoperability across emergency response organizations and systems as intended by the FEMA IPAWS Program. (Kore Redden/Merissa Mendoza)
*J.Discussion/approval/disapproval of acceptance of donation from the Regional Fire Department of one (1) lightly used Ferno 23 One-Man Roll-in gurney, MSRP value approximately $4,696, free of charge. Representatives from the Regional Fire Department have indicated that the gurney is in good repair and is excess supply. County Finance has been notified of this prospective donation pursuant to policy 8.71. (John Hu)

Call to the Public— A "call to the public" is the time period for members of the public to address the Board of Supervisors to provide public input relating to subject matter within the Board of Supervisors authority or jurisdiction. Those wishing to address the Board of Supervisors need not request permission in advance. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or rescheduling it for further consideration and decision at a later date.

(13)Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of Ordinance No. 2025-PZ-PD-015-24; Kristine Gay, RVi Planning (applicant/agent), on behalf of landowner – Queen Creek Senior Living LLC, requesting a Major Planned Area Development (PAD) amendment to existing amended PAD (PZ-038-21/PZ-PD-038-21) according to Section 2.176.260 of the Pinal County Development Services Code, to revise Stipulation #18 of Ordinance No. 2022-PZ-PD-038-21, from “The building/s on site shall not exceed one story and 36’ in height for architectural embellishments”, to “The building/s on site shall not exceed two stories and 36’ in height for architectural embellishments” in order to allow a partially 2-story building on approximate 5.93-acre property in Community Commercial Zoning District (C-2) located within SW corner of SE ¼ of Section 29, Township 02S, Range 08E, Tax Parcel 104-22-6830, at E.
