*L.Discussion/approval/disapproval to submit a grant application to the Arizona Companion Animal Community Cats Trap Neuter Return (TNR) grant for $10,000. This grant will be used by Pinal County Animal Care and Control to go towards the spay/neuter surgeries of approximately 125 cats considered feral or unsocialized, so they can no longer procreate. Discussion/approval/disapproval to submit a grant application to the Arizona Companion Animal Spay/Neuter Fund for $12,000. *Z.Discussion/approval/disapproval to authorize Pinal County Attorney to take all necessary action to enforce the Civil Hearing Office finding of violations against Amy and Oscar Reyes, up to and including filing a complaint in Superior Court, utilizing appropriate resources to remedy the violations, and file liens for the cost of recovery.  The property owners were found in violation of the Pinal County Building Code Ordinance of Unsafe Structure, Unsafe Equipment and Unlawful Structure for maintaining the presence of a garage attached to the permitted single-family residence, which was illegally converted into a living space without a permit.  In addition to building and demolishing a second story on top of the attached garage and conducting electrical work on the structure without a permit. This agreement is for the purpose of conducting joint law enforcement training (specifically, drivers training, firearms training, use of force/defensive tactics related training, and other related law enforcement training) attended by designed sworn law enforcement personnel. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Pinal County by and through the Pinal County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) and the Department of Liquor Licenses & Control (DLLC) Regarding Use of Shooting Range. The purpose of this agreement is to grant DLLC limited use and access to the Outdoor Shooting Range owned by PCSO. (Mark Lamb)

Discussion/approval/disapproval to accept the FY 23/24 Senate Bill 1720 Local Border Support appropriation through the Department of Public Safety (DPS) Border Strike Force Funding Department to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning July 1, 2023, ending June 30, 2024, for $1,000,000. These funds will be used to support the Anti-Smuggling Unit (ASU), the Pinal County Narcotics Task Force (PCNTF), and our Gang and Habitual Offender Strike Team (GHOST) Unit. The acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 23/24 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 203 (Sheriff’s Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. *AP.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement CJI-22-001 Grant Adjustment #3 under the Criminal Justice Innovative Grant Program between the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) and Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning July 1, 2021, ending June 30, 2024, for an additional $22,045. The new total grant award is $126,321.17. This grant will be used to purchase electronic equipment to support the Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Redirection Program. The acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 23/24 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 203 (Sheriff’s Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations.
