*H.Discussion/approval/disapproval for the Elections Department to terminate early Contract (Order # SO-06453) entered into September 15, 2022, with FleetUp for 165 FleetUp devices and twelve months service and support so as to resolve any outstanding claims/invoices and return equipment to vendor pursuant to the Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release of Claims. The Elections Department has determined the monthly maintenance and ongoing costs for the devices and the usefulness or benefit to the department operations and needs do not warrant their continued use. *I.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 062123-PCHA authorizing Pinal County Housing Authority to charge uncollectible U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) vacated tenant accounts totaling $26,096.97 for Uncollectible Debt as a loss. *J.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 062123-CFO-01 in accordance with A.R.S. 41-1279.07(E) which requires each county, city, town, and community college district to annually provide to the Auditor General by July 31 the name of the Chief Fiscal Officer (CFO) the governing body has designated to officially submit the current year’s annual expenditure limitation report (AELR) on the governing body’s behalf. Action on this item will designate Angeline Woods to officially submit the FY 2023/2024 annual expenditure limitation report (AELR) on the Board's behalf. There is no match requirement associated with this grant. This agreement, to be used by the Economic and Workforce Development Department, will provide Program Year 2023 funding which is authorized under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for the ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County workforce system. *AE.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Intergovernmental Agreement No. DI21-002287, Amendment 3 under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) between the Arizona Department of Economic Security and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning July 1, 2023, or date of last signature, ending June 30, 2024, unless otherwise amended, for $4,658. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Sections 127(c) and 132(c) require the U.S. Secretary of Labor to conduct re-allotment of excess unobligated WIOA Adult, Youth, and Dislocated Worker formula funds based on financial reports submitted at the end of the prior program year. This amendment, to be used by the Economic and Workforce Development Department, will provide additional Program Year 2022 Dislocated Worker Program funding authorized under the WIOA for the ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County workforce system. *AU.Discussion/approval/disapproval for Award Agreement No. DC-24-031 under the FY24 Drug, Gang, and Violent Crime Control grant between the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission and Pinal County through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning July 1, 2023, ending June 30, 2024, for $145,286.62 with a 25% match requirement of $48,428.88. This grant will be used by the Pinal County Attorney's Office for one full-time prosecutor and partial funding of an additional prosecutor to enhance drug, gang, or violent crime control efforts to deter, investigate, prosecute, adjudicate, and punish drug, gang, and related offenders. The funding is included in the FY 23/24 budget. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Kent Volkmer)
*AV.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Pinal County Sheriff's Office and the Florence Unified School District #1, for the provision of School Resource Officer (SRO) Services. Period: July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, with one (1) year renewal extension. The IGA is budgeted in the FY 23/24 budget. (Mark Lamb)
*AW.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 062123-GRIC-PCSO, a Resolution authorizing the submission of the grant application(s) for the Gila River Indian Community Shared Revenue Program for $303,253. This grant will be used by the Pinal County Sheriff's Office to purchase three (3) motorcycles, a Faro Focus premium scanner, an iPad to assist with diagramming fatal collision and homicide scenes, and a heavy-duty truck. (Mark Lamb)

Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement No. ADOA-AZ911-24-14 under the Arizona 9-1-1 Grant Program between the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) and Pinal County through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning July 1, 2023, ending June 30, 2024, for $497,457. This grant will be used by the Sheriff’s Office for operational and contractual services for all 9-1-1 Dispatch Centers in Pinal County. The grant will be budgeted in the FY 23/24 budget adoption. Discussion/approval/disapproval of Amendment #3 to Award Agreement No. 21-AZDOHS-OPSG-210437-02 under the Operation Stonegarden grant between the Arizona Department of Homeland Security and Pinal County through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors for the Sheriff's Office. This amendment changes the agreement end date from March 31, 2023, to March 31, 2024. (Mark Lamb)

*AZ.Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement No. DC-24-009 under the FY 2024 Drug, Gang, and Violent Crime Control Program between the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) and Pinal County through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning July 1, 2023, ending June 30, 2024, for $135,594.34. This grant will be used by the Sheriff’s Office for salary, EREs, overtime, and training. The grant will be budgeted in the FY 23/24 budget adoption. (Mark Lamb)
*BA.Discussion/approval/disapproval for Lieutenant Nikki Cannon #866 who retired from the Pinal County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) Adult Detention Center on October 29, 2022. Lieutenant Cannon #866 has requested that, in compliance with established precedence and protocol, she be permitted to purchase her PCSO issued duty weapon, identified as Glock 17 at $25. Fair market value for Glock 17 is approximately $420. Purchase of issued weapon upon retirement is also in compliance with A.R.S. 38-1115A which allows a law enforcement officer upon his/her retirement to purchase his/her issued weapon at a price determined by the administrator of the agency. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the appointment of Alexandria Anemone as a Commissioner/Judge Pro Tempore of the Superior Court. Said appointment is made by the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court and Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. The appointment is due to a vacancy. (Todd Zweig)

*BC.Discussion/approval/disapproval of the appointment of Daniel Thorup as a Commissioner/Judge Pro Tempore of the Superior Court. Said appointment is made by the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court and Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. The appointment is due to a vacancy. (Todd Zweig)
*BD.Discussion/approval/disapproval of a modification to the Award Agreement for State Aid Enhancement program between the Arizona Supreme Court Administrative Office of the Courts and Pinal County through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors. The modification adds $245,976 for a total grant amount of $3,193,632. The Adult Probation Office will use this grant to cover additional support to pay for wages and EREs. The approval also aligns the current budget amount to the award amount and requires an amendment to the FY 22/23 budget to transfer appropriation from Fund 53 (Adult Probation/State Enhancement) to Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency). There is no impact on the General Fund. (Saul Schoon)
