*A.  Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County Workforce Development Board May 19, 2022 meeting minutes.

 

*B. Discussion/approval/disapproval to recommend renewal of board member applications for the following:

  • Harold Christ (Business)
  • Christina Walker (Business)
  •  Susan Aguilar (Adult Education)

 

*C. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Program Year 2021 Monitoring Report for  ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County One Stop Operator (Chicanos Por La Causa) services.

 

*D. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the request by Equus Workforce Services to transfer $75,102 from the Dislocated Worker Program to the Adult Program.

 

*E. Discussion/approval/disapproval for the purchase of 10 laptops for Equus Workforce Solutions to replace end-of life laptops, and two (2) for Pinal County Workforce Development staff.  Estimated costs of laptops and required software is $29,775.

 

*F. Discussion/approval/disapproval of the 2020-2023 ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County Workforce Development Plan - Modification 1.  This two-year modification is required under the Workforce innovation and Opportunity Act.  Once approved, the plan will be submitted to the Workforce Arizona Council (State Workforce Board) for final approval.

 

*G Discussion/approval/disapproval of Program Year 2022 Incentive Policy for the Adult and Dislocated Worker Programs.

Board Chair Report: Presentation of the Pinal County Workforce Development Board Chair Report for July 21, 2022.

(4)Manufacturer's Sector Strategy: Update on the Local First/Pinal County Workforce Development Board's manufacturer's sector strategy collaborative initiative.

Pinal County Workforce Development Board Budget Report:  Discussion/approval/disapproval of the July 2022 PCWDB Budget Report.

The Pinal Way 22:  Information/Discussion:  Overview of the implementation of the 2020-2023 ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County Workforce Development Plan, Modification 1.

Consideration and discussion of comments from the public. Those wishing to address the Pinal County Workforce Development Board need not request permission in advance. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or rescheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date.
