BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of application for payments to Casa Grande Valley Newspapers Inc. for a total of $2,994.62 from the Pinal County Attorney’s Office anti-racketeering fund account to assist in the funding of awards as part of the Pinal County Attorney’s Office 35th Annual Anti-Drug Poster Contest. There will be no fiscal impact to the general fund as there is sufficient funding within the Pinal County Attorney’s Office anti-racketeering fund.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPECTED PERFORMANCE IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
The Pinal County Attorney’s Office is continuing the tradition of the Annual Anti-Drug Poster Contest and Awards Ceremony as this event helps create a positive message to our youth while building team work, confidence and encouraging youth to avoid drugs. This is a great drug prevention tool for the community and children of Pinal County.
