BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Memorandum of Agreement and authorize Emergency Manager Kore Redden to execute the Agreement on behalf of the County. The purpose of this memorandum is to establish a management agreement between the Pinal County Office of Emergency Management and the FEMA IPAWS Program regarding the utilization and security of the Pinal County Office of Emergency Management Interoperable System(s). The expected benefit is to enable information interoperability across emergency response organizations and systems as intended by the FEMA IPAWS Program. (Kore Redden/Merissa Mendoza)
