BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval to submit a grant application to the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission, Drug, Gang and Violent Crime Control Program for $198,000. Match is required in the amount of $49,500 (25%) and will be coming from the General Fund. This grant will be used by the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit for salary, EREs, overtime and training.
