BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION: Discussion/approval/disapproval of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) AZ FLAP PIN FR77 Modification No. 1 under the Federal Lands Access Program between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Pinal County with a new end date of Fall 2027, for an increased amount of $22,350,000. This grant will be used by Development Services to improve 6.1 miles of East Peralta Road. This project is administered by FHWA - Central Federal Lands Division. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FISCAL CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR EXPECTED FISCAL IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM: Estimated total project cost has increased to $22,350,000. Pinal’s match amount increased to $1,600,000 which is programmed and budgeted in Highway User Revenue Funds and the General Fund.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPECTED PERFORMANCE IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM: Pinal County currently maintains this section of Peralta Road as a dirt roadway, there are no expected performance impacts with this agenda item.
