BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement CJTIP-24-004 Grant Adjustment #1 under the Treatment Improvement Program between the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission and Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning January 1, 2024, ending December 31, 2024, for $349,999. The grant adjustment extends the term of the agreement to September 30, 2025. This grant will be used by the Sheriff’s Office Re-Entry Program to develop, implement, or expand comprehensive efforts to identify, respond to, treat, and support those impacted by illicit opioids, stimulants, and other drugs of abuse. The funding is included in the current budget and was appropriated to this program. (Mark Lamb)
