BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of a Proclamation for the Board of Supervisors to declare the week of May 19th through May 25th, 2024, as "National Travel and Tourism Week" in Pinal County.
National Travel and Tourism Week was established by a congressional resolution in 1983 in order to celebrate the travel community and highlight how travel stimulates economic growth, creates quality jobs, inspires new businesses and elevates the quality of life for citizens every day.
