| BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION: |
| Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of the FFY24-28 U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Consolidated Plan, the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing, the FFY2024 Annual Action Plan and authorize the Chairman to sign the application documents once final allocations are provided by HUD. Match is estimated at $300,000. This grant will be used by the Office of Budget and Finance to complete a variety of projects including: housing rehabilitation, public facility improvements, affordable housing, administrative expenses including salaries for department staff, and projects within partnering communities Eloy and Maricopa. | BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FISCAL CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR EXPECTED FISCAL IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM: |
| Pinal County anticipates receiving an estimated $1,800,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding, $600,000 in HOME Partnership funding, and $150,000 in Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding for the FFY 2024. Match requirements include 25% of the HOME award and 100% of the ESG award. Cash match will not be required, rather obtained through state funding and subrecipients. |
