Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Proclamation proclaiming the week of March 18, 2024, through March 22, 2024, as "Public Defense Week" to recognize the 61st anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling in Gideon v. Wainwright, ordering that defendants without means must be provided professional legal representation in accordance with the 6th Amendment of the United States Constitution.
