BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Intergovernmental Grant Agreement No. IGA-ARPA-PINAL-010124-01 under the American Rescue Plan Act between the State of Arizona Office of the Governor and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning June 1, 2023, ending September 30, 2026, for $15,000,000. This grant will be used by the Office of Budget and Finance for water system improvements in the Casa Grande area. A subrecipient agreement will be executed with the City of Casa Grande to implement the project. The funds for the award will be received and spent in FY 24/25. Therefore, acceptance of the award does not require a budget amendment for FY 23/24. The revenue and expenses related to the award will be included in the budget for FY 24/25.
