BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) Data Sharing Agreement No. 235533 and Internal Data Sharing Agreements No. 235540 (Central Arizona College), No. 235541 (Equus Workforce Solutions) and No. 235542 (Chicanos Por La Causa). Internal Data Sharing agreements allow contracted providers of ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County services access to Unemployment Insurance (UI) data for program performance tracking. The Pinal County Board of Supervisors has an UI data-sharing agreement (DSA) with the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES)/Division of Employment and Rehabilitation Services (DERS). This DSA has been in place since December 2017. However, DES has required the County and our service providers to update our DSAs to a 5-year agreement due to constant changes in technology, which results in the need for approval of these agreements. Move to approve the Data Sharing Agreement with the Department of Economic Security (DES) and the Internal Data Sharing Agreements between the Pinal County Board of Supervisors and ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County contracted service providers to allow access to the State’s Unemployment Insurance system.
