BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval to accept the FY 23/24 Senate Bill 1712 appropriation to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning July 1, 2023, ending June 30, 2024, for $98,996. The award will be used to reimburse the Sheriff's Office for software used to protect and support victims of crimes by sending call and case notifications to those who call 911 or the non-emergency number. The acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 23/24 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 203 (Sheriff’s Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Mark Lamb)
