BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Intergovernmental Agreement 23-21 under the Proposition 202 Tribal Gaming grant between the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Raising Special Kids, and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning January 1, 2024, ending December 31, 2024, for $50,000. This grant will be used by Raising Special Kids for a navigation, coaching, and Support-4-AZFamilies in Pinal County program. (Heather Patel/Angeline Woods)
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FISCAL CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR EXPECTED FISCAL IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
There is no fiscal impact to Pinal County. Proposition 202, requires non-profits apply through a unit of local government. Pinal County will serve as the fiscal agent and pass through entity.
