BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Intergovernmental Agreement 23-18 under the Proposition 202 Tribal Gaming grant between the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Good Shepherd Healing Ministries Horse Rescue, and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning January 1, 2024, ending December 31, 2024, for $7,000. This grant will be used by Good Shepherd for an Assisting needy children and adults through a human/horse relationship program. Supervisor District #5. (Heather Patel/Angeline Woods)
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FISCAL CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR EXPECTED FISCAL IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
There is no fiscal impact to Pinal County. Proposition 202, requires non-profits apply through a unit of local government. Pinal County will serve as the fiscal agent and pass through entity.
