BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement CJI-22-001 Grant Adjustment #3 under the Criminal Justice Innovative Grant Program between the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) and Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning July 1, 2021, ending June 30, 2024, for an additional $22,045. The new total grant award is $126,321.17. This grant will be used to purchase electronic equipment to support the Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Redirection Program. The acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 23/24 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 203 (Sheriff’s Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. There is no impact on the General Fund. (Mark Lamb)
