BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County Open Space and Trails Department submitting a Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Lease application to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for Regional Park #2. Under the R&PP application Pinal County intends to lease qualified BLM property for the ultimate development of a Regional Park in central Pinal County. Supervisor Districts #4 and #5. Planning for and implementing regional parks is consistent with the County Strategic Priorities; “Infrastructure and Asset Management” and Balanced and Flexible Growth”.
