BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Intergovernmental Agreement No. DI23-002390 under the WIOA Title I Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth Programs Pinal County between the Arizona Department of Economic Security and Pinal County, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors beginning July 1, 2023, or date of last signature, ending June 30, 2028, unless otherwise amended, for $2,426,393. There is no match requirement associated with this grant. This agreement, to be used by the Economic and Workforce Development Department, will provide Program Year 2023 funding which is authorized under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for the ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County workforce system.
