Presentation: On December 8, 2022, the Pinal County Workforce Development Board (PCWDB) was the recipient of the "Local Board Impact Award, by the Workforce Arizona Council (State Workforce Board) during their annual convening event. The award recognized the County's "Reimagining Our Future" event held on October 20, 2022.  The session fulfilled its purpose by providing a venue to solidify an alignment of focus between chief elected officials (Board of Supervisors), County Manager, PCWDB, and Economic and Workforce Development Leadership. The meeting also provided a venue to discuss how the PCWDB can best shape the ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County service delivery system to meet the talent development needs identified as a result of the economic development growth of Pinal County.
