BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Award Agreement No. ASPT-552307 between the Arizona State Parks Board and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, beginning November 03, 2022, ending November 02, 2024, for $100,000. The grant will be used to purchase two fully equipped side by sides. The vehicles will be specifically tasked with and a critical part of the onsite Law Enforcement Saturation Patrol, education, and visibility on Pinal County OHV areas and public land. The acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 22/23 budget to transfer reserve appropriation from Fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 203 (Sheriff's Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. The appropriation also includes a participant match of $5,263.16 from the Sheriff's Office General Fund budget for a total project cost of $105,263.16. (Mark Lamb)
