BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of Resolution No. 062222-FL21-016 authorizing the Pinal County Flood Control District to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Maricopa and authorizing the Chair of the Pinal County Flood Control Board of Directors to execute the agreement. The purpose of this agreement is to define the maintenance and inspection responsibilities, for compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program, in regard to the Flood Control Improvements built in the Hogenes Farms development within the City of Maricopa. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FISCAL CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR EXPECTED FISCAL IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
There will be no fiscal impact to Pinal County caused by the approval or disapproval of the IGA with the City of Maricopa.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPECTED PERFORMANCE IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
The authorization of the Pinal County Flood Control District to enter into an IGA with the City of Maricopa will allow the Hogenes Farms development in the City of Maricopa to move forward with their application for a Conditional Letter of Map Revision.
