Discussion/approval/disapproval of the Pinal County tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2022-2023, beginning July 1, 2022, ending June 30, 2023, in the amount of $1,017,055,235 in accordance with A.R.S. 42-17103. This budget proposes reducing the primary property tax rate from $3.6900 to $3.5600. Approval of this budget sets aside funding as included in the budget development process.  Newly requested positions require separate approval by the county manager as outlined in the adopted budget procedures.  The FY 2022 - 2023 Pinal County Employee Compensation Plan will be considered in a separate agenda item.  The Public Hearing and final budget adoption are scheduled for July 6, 2022.
