BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval of the pay structure and salaries assigned to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) Law Enforcement and Detention Step Plans. Approval of this item also approves a fiscal year 2021 - 2022 budget amendment from the general fund financial stability reserve to salaries and EREs in the Sheriff's office. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FISCAL CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR EXPECTED FISCAL IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
The fiscal year 2021/2021 budget will have an impact of $684,353 upon approval of implementation of the updates to the pay structure and additional years of service for the sworn pay structure. The fiscal year 2021/2022 budget includes budget capacity for the implementation of the updates for the detention pay structure.
