BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval for Court Administration to eliminate a vacant Financial Manager position in the General Fund and create, in its place, a new Budget Analyst position. This modification will result in a projected cost savings of $15,712 in the General Fund. (Todd D. Zweig)
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FISCAL CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR EXPECTED FISCAL IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
The combined salary and ERE costs of the position to be eliminated total $97,825.68 and the new position, budgeted at the midpoint, totals $82,114.00. This results in a savings of $15,711.68 in the General Fund.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPECTED PERFORMANCE IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
This position modification will result in a cost savings while upholding the budgetary needs of the Superior Court.
