| BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION: |
| Discussion/approval/disapproval for Award Agreement between the Office of the Attorney General, State of Arizona, and the Pinal County Attorney’s Office, Eloy Family Advocacy Center through the Pinal County Board of Supervisors for the AG21-0005 RFGA Child and Family Advocacy Center Fund Grant Program in the amount of $19,044.23. The award will help the Eloy Family Advocacy Center update items for the center that will provide a safe and comfortable environment for victims. The acceptance requires an amendment to the FY 20/21 budget to transfer reserve appropriation only from Fun 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to Fund 268 (Co Atty Misc Grants) to increase revenue and expenditure appropriations. There is no impact on the General Fund. There are no match requirements. (Kent Volkmer) |

| In December 2018, a multi-state judgment was reached by the Office of Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich. During the 2018 and 2019 legislative sessions, the Arizona Attorney General’s Office (AGO) worked with the Arizona Legislature to re-appropriate monies from civil settlements for the purpose of establishing a fund to provide grant support to Child and Family Advocacy Center’s (CFAC). July, 2020, the Arizona Attorney General's Office created Grant #AG21-0005 for FAC locations to apply. This award will assist the Pinal County Attorney’s Office Eloy Family Advocacy Center with funds to update items for the center that will provide a safe and comfortable environment for victims. |
