| BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION: |
| Discussion/approval/disapproval to submit an application to the Arizona Department of Emergency Management under the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Fiscal Year 20 Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities program to hire a consultant to conduct research and create a plan for landscaping alternatives used to reduce wind velocity in high-risk areas. When implemented will reduce or eliminate damage to infrastructure, buildings, homes, and save lives. The county's project has been selected by DEMA to submit an application.
