BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:
Discussion/approval/disapproval to accept an Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) in the amount of $372,000 for Pinal County for Federal Fiscal Year 2020, and to authorize the Emergency Manager or his designee to execute related administrative documentation on the behalf of Pinal County. Approval also accepts a Fiscal Year 20/21 budget amendment to transfer reserve appropriation only from fund 196 (PW/Emergency Management) to fund 213 (Grants/Project Contingency) to match the revenue and expenditure appropriations to the grant award. The budget amendment also reduces the transfers in and out for the grant match. There is no impact on General Fund. (GA20-020) (Charles Kmet/Andrew Smith)
