BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF AGENDA ITEM AND REQUESTED BOARD ACTION:

Public Hearing and discussion/approval/disapproval of the FY2020 Annual Action Plan for the use of CDBG and HOME funds. Pinal County will receive a CDBG allocation of $1,319,489 and a HOME allocation of $621,146. Four participating cities and towns have elected to join the county’s entitlement program. Those communities include: Eloy, Florence, Mammoth, and Maricopa. Participating communities will receive a CDBG allocation of $130,000. Pinal County is seeking public comments and approval of the proposed projects and plan. (Heather Patel/Lori Pruitt)
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FISCAL CONSIDERATIONS AND/OR EXPECTED FISCAL IMPACT OF THIS AGENDA ITEM:
This funding will provide $1,940,635 of federal funds for community and housing development needs throughout Pinal County.
